The Gardens Trust Annual Conference

The Gardens Trust welcomes you to our weekend conference in Oxford including visits to Oxford Botanic Garden, Christchurch and Worcester College gardens, Shotover and Nuneham Courtenay. The Conference opens on Friday afternoon with a guided tour of the Oxford Botanic Garden accompanied by a tasting of The Oxford Artisan Distillery’s Physic Garden gin and continues on Saturday with Christchurch and Worcester College’s private gardens (with a touch of both Alice in Wonderland and garden historian Mavis Batey), and our popular New Research Symposium, the AGM and the Conference dinner enlivened by Robin Lane Fox, the resident garden writer for the Saturday Financial Times. It ends on Sunday with Nuneham Courtenay’s iconic C18 landscape and the private gardens of Shotover Park House with its William Kent garden buildings.
