Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe Study Day at RHS Wisley

March 19, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe was one of the 20th century’s leading landscape architects and we believe that his sensitivity to purpose and the environment are still very relevant to modern town planning and landscape design today.  We are delighted to have three talented and knowledgeable speakers (Annabel Downs, Kate Harwood and Ed Bennis) talking about their research on three unique designs by Jellicoe.  They will focus on his master plan for Hemel Hempstead New Town and Water Gardens, the John F Kennedy Memorial at Runnymede and the Cadbury Factory at Moreton.  In addition we will be able to discuss and visit the canal he designed at RHS Wisley.

Attached please find details of the study day and a booking form.  We do hope you will join us for this exciting programme.

Please note that this is a ticketless event but confirmations will be sent out two weeks prior to the event.  Should you have any queries please use the email link provided below.
