Ridgeways, Bramfield

We moved here in 2007. The front garden was already landscaped and contained a very nice pond. So far, we have managed to keep the fish alive!

The back garden however was a different story. Very little grew here apart from brambles and an indifferent lawn. A swing and climbing frame used by the previous children completed the very depressing picture. Until we both retired, we did very little with this apart from mow the lawn. Now very gradually we have been working on it. With a new lawn (now flat without holes!) and a lovely corner with path and pergola, we are beginning to make a difference. The Wisteria had to be moved to make way for our new patio and amazingly has survived. This year is the best display of blooms we have ever had.
